Race Features
The MTB Classic has a 1-lap Junior division, a separate wave of 2-lap for High School Novice riders, a 2-lap Novice division, 3 laps for Sport and Single Speed divisions, and a 4-lap Expert/SS Expert and Pro division. Each lap is 6 miles of challenging, scenic, fast single track trails, up and down the foothills surrounding Folsom Lake. The High School divisions for Novice, Sport and Expert will have their own start waves.

Course Description:
The MTB Classic race course is on multi-use trails within the Granite Bay State Park on Folsom Lake. The course features a fun, challenging combination of twisting single-track, wide double track, rolling cross-country with some sand and a bit of pavement. The course is perfect for first-timers and exciting fun for all levels. Please be respectful of other trail users including hikers and equestrian riders in this state park. All events are rain or shine, the course is great to ride in all weather.

Race Extras

Competitor Goodies:
Included for each competitor is a TBF MTB Beanie and athlete goody bag with CLIF Bar, Emerald Nuts, and other product samples.

Post Race Athlete Food:
Included for each competitor is a post race meal of hot soup or chili with fruit, cookies and beverage.

Training and Coaching:
TBF Training provides group workouts and coaching for the sport of Triathlon along with individual Multi-Sport Coaching and Personal Training.

Our TBF Racing Athlete Volunteer Program offers athletes a chance to get involved with multi-sport events, have fun, and earn a $40 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees at any of our events this year.

In addition, our volunteers usually get a breakfast burrito, coffee and RedBull, lunch, and a volunteer race t-shirt. Our volunteer shifts races will vary with starting times between 6 am and 8 am, and also an 11 am shift.

We ask volunteers to arrive a few minutes early for the shift you have selected to find the Volunteer Tent, check in, and pick up your TBF Racing Volunteer shirt. Each shift is usually 4 hours. You will pick up your RACE For FREE Athlete Voucher at the conclusion of your shift, upon checking out back at the Volunteer Tent. To reserve a volunteer position at any of our events please email teri@totalbodyfitness.com as our volunteer positions will fill up quickly.

Volunteers aged 12 - 15 yrs old, accompanied by their parent or other adult are welcome to participate in our volunteer program. In addition to breakfast, lunch and a volunteer shirt they will earn a $20 TBF Racing Volunteer voucher good towards entry fees of any TBF Racing event this year. Volunteers aged 10 and under, accompanied by their parent or other adult will receive breakfast, lunch and a volunteer shirt.
