Celebrate Spring at Griffth Quarry Park in Penryn

Instead of Marie Callender's this month, we decided an outdoor event would be appropriate. Wonderful outcroppings, winding trails and the historic value of this place make Griffith Quarry Park a great meetup spot, just minutes from I-80 in the Penryn-Loomis area.

We'll meet about 4 PM for wine & cheese, and an afternoon of socializing and discussions about our Folkway. Expect to hear a stimulating talk by Steve McNallen of the AFA, who will also lead us in Blot to Jord.

This is very informal; bring some snacks and beverages to share.  We'll follow up with a dinner BBQ for those who wish to stay - so please bring a dish to share.

There are no detailed maps of the park, but we will post signs to our picnic area once we arrive.

For those of you who have been out of touch, or for whom this is your very first chance to meet other Asatruar - we encourage you to come! There are solitaries in remote places of this continent who would gladly drive an hour or so to meet other like-minded people. Diane, Daniel, Heather, and Knute - we're glad you're coming!
