Paddle Lake McCloud to Hearst Castle. This has always been a popular paddle. We will meet at the Chevron Station in McCloud (corner of Hiway 89 and Squaw Valley Rd.) at 9:30am or you can meet us at the Lake McCloud Boat Ramp at 9:45am. This is a US Forest Service Facility so bring money for parking permit. It is about a 90 minute drive from Redding to the Chevron Station.

The paddle will be about 6 miles round trip on flat water. Bring PFD, water, snacks and lunch. The water will be very cold so you must wear your PFD while on the water. We will be paddling at a relaxed pace.

If you do not own a kayak and would like to join us, Eagle Eye's Kayak will have kayaks for rent and they will be transported to and from the lake for you. Call Donna at [masked] if you are interested in renting a kayak. Hope to see you there
