It was fantastic to hear about the great sustainability efforts being made at Odells and learn more about the great culture they have created that seeks to continually try to reduce their environmental impact.
The efficiency and renewable upgrades at the facility are top notch. Doug gave a great presentation and down-to-earth illustration of a businessman wrestling with the energy costs and unknown variables of a large manufacturing operation. Although I have to admit the Gigantic whiskey barrels and Big Ass fans are what impressed me. You could really tell that Karla, April and the staff were proud to be a part of Odell Brewing. And Don't forget the world-class tasty liquid refreshments. And the friendly crowd of renewable energy supporters.
Doug's presentation was great. He showed without a doubt how important the owner of a building needs to be intimately involved with how it is designed- and his brewery expansion is clearly a huge success.
