The 6th Annual NNJPE Easter Eggstravaganza!

Come young Puggies, come old Puggies (and bring your humans too!), as it's time once again for the NNJPE's fabulously famous Easter Eggstravaganza!

We will once again be having our outdoor Easter Egg Hunt...eggs will be hidden in various *inconspicuous* locations among the delightfully grassy knolls of Best Friends! Inside each egg, will be a delectable Puggie treat; the more you find, the more goodies for your Pug...what fun! As if this wasn't enough; the one individual or team (team members must search together!) of whom finds the most eggs will win an eggciting tote filled to the brim with goodies! We will also have one additional tote to be given away as a door prize, so the not-so-swift egg seeker need not fear, as you will have your own opportunity to *bring home the bacon*...I mean eggs (metaphorically speaking, of course...)!

To keep this event safe and sane for everyone, the dogs will need to be on leash for the duration of the egg hunt; once that portion of the meetup has ended, they may participate in a session of *paw loose and fancy free* play inside the Best Friends playroom. Let the fur fly!!

NOTE THE NEW ARRIVAL TIME! You may begin to show up for this meetup at 1:45 PM (the egg hunt will start promptly at 2:15 PM and we will be setting up prior, so please DO NOT BE LATE, or you will miss the start of the event!

As always, your human and/or canine food offering is greatly appreciated; to avoid an excess of *delectables*, we are looking for a few food "volunteers"- we would love it if you'd state your contribution under "comments" when you first RSVP for this event so as everyone can compare and "fill in the voids"; thanks in advance for your help!

And now "The Fine Print": The cost of this event is $5.00 per person, and Pugs are FREE! Sadly enough, people have RSVP'd for events in the past and at the last minute decide not to show up, which causes  a loss of revenue for items I've paid for in advance and out-of-pocket; therefore, I am requesting that you consider pre-payment via Amazon Payments. (Signing up for your free account is E-Z! Please contact me if you need assistance or have any questions.) Additionally; do also take heed in cleaning up after your dog, as we wish to leave Best Friends as nice as we find it! (Directions to this meetup will be emailed to each attendee a couple of days prior to the day of the event; they are also "tacked" on the top portion of the group message board.)

We are looking forward to seeing you there, so hop to it and RSVP today!

Pugs 'n' Kisses to everyone!

Thanks to all attendees for making our Easter Egg Hunt Meetup another fun success!
The weather cooperated, making for a simply Pugnificent hunt! Congrats to Lauren for finding the Golden Egg and winning our Easter Tote, and congrats to Cynthia for winning our raffle drawing! Finally, thanks to Jen for her help, and to Best Friends for their help and generousity. Hope to see all of you at our next meetup!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
