Let's meetup with all of our fellow NNJPE Pugaholics on our favorite dog-friendly beach... Fisherman's Cove!
There's nothing better than taking in some sand and surf with your favorite canine companion by your side (unless you are in the company of a plethora of Pugs, that is...). What does Pug x Pug x Pug equal? Why, that equates to lots and lots and lots of fun and the formula for a fun-filled afternoon (you do the math...).
Feel free to bring your beach chairs, snacks and beverages (no alcohol please), along with water for your Puggie and doggie doo bags (we want to leave the area as pristine as we find it, so please mind your pooch!). Dogs should be on a leash at all times. There is no charge to enter the beach and parking is free; The event itself is fee-free.
I am sorry that our original plans to meet the foster Pugs of Pug Planet didn't pan out, but the group was getting so large, I was having difficulty getting a permit from the parks commission without having to pay an exorbitant cost (I would just as soon see that money go directly to Pug Rescue, than to pay for insurance and a special event permit, which collectively, were in excess of $600.00.) Any items you originally intended to donate to the rescue may be left with me (treats, wee pads, harnessses, etc); I will insure that Pug Planet Rescue receives them. No worries, as we will have an opportunity to attend a future Pug Planet event...stay tuned for details!
Aside from all of this insanity, I am happy to say that I am the proud "owner" of a group permit, which allows the NNJPE to be present at the beach for a little fun, frolic and Puggie shenanigans!!! WOO HOO!!! Sunday is destined to be a beautiful day, and I look forward to seeing all of you soon.
See you at the beach!
