Introduction
Hi!I'm Ellen & owned by 2 Pugs Brittany & Dippy, foster Pug Mo Mo, 2 cats & a small Parrot! I began this meetup in June '06 (a smaller group existed prior). A few Pug owners had written to me expressing interest in a new meetup, thus; NNJPE was born!
Welcome! How did you learn about us, and what prompted you to join (i.e. to attend monthly events, meet new people and to socialize your Pug; to receive Pug-related information on health care, training etc.)?
Well, thanks me! Seriously; I had believed that the formation of this group, via our common "thread", would not only be enjoyable from a social aspect, but could also bring around a community awareness for animals in need and other reputable causes.
Please tell us a little bit about your pug(s);name, age...when your eyes met theirs, was it "Puppy Love" at first sight?!?
It's Brittany, who turned 7 on Jan. 8th,'09. I knew she'd be "pick of the litter", 'cause out of all of the available Pups, she gave the most kisses. On Aug.12th '07, darling Dippy became a member of my household and Mo Mo came along June 2009.
