To all of our Puggle Lovers out there...please help!

Kim of Pug Planet has informed me that there's a Senior Puggle in a Toms River Area shelter that is in dire need of rescue and could be euthanized at any time!!! Time is critical for this little guy, so if you wish to give this fella a second chance at a happy, forever home, please email Kim at:

Please cc me at as well.

Kim can help with transport and also with getting his adoption fee waived.

Please do not hesitate to reach out ASAP.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Everyone- Puggle is saved and in rescue w/ a fellow rescue friend of mine here in South Jersey. :)
We have had 5 in need in th past day alone. Beginning of summer is approaching and surrender rates are typically high!

Anyone willing to foster a pug in need feel free to contact us at our email address and we will send you an app which will help us to determine what you can/cannot handle. Please remember when we do get dogs in from shelters situations and it is of urgency we have no record of their prior history. It is a blank slate because they are typically strays or dumped as in this situation. Even if they are surrenders we are not always told the truth.

In consideration of fostering the app is geared to help us determine a foster's capabilities. Once we do have it back and complete the vet reference a volunteer will contact you to discuss further.

Thank You,

Soooo glad the litte fella is in rescue and out of the shelter; thanks for the update, Kim!

If anyone else has room in their hearts and their homes to foster a Pug in need, please let Kim know.

Thanks for paying it forward!
