NORTHERN NEW JERSEY PUG EXTRAVAGANZA! Message Board › Remembering Pug Planet's ~JORDAN~

Jordan was there right from the start of Pug Planet in our mission to help pugs. He had seen every single pug (and some other breeds) that we had personally took into our home since '2004'. That's a BIG # he saw come and go!
Jordan became a hospice pug as he had many special needs. He was est. to be 10-12 yrs old when we rescued him! Jordan was very old, blind and deaf, arthritis and had the biggest mass we had ever seen that took up the entire side of his body. A local vet the Dr. said we be lucky to have him 6 months. In addition to all his other medical ailments we found that he had heart/resp. problems. Though he was high risk Jordan was neutered and the tumor removed successfully. Blood work was kept up on him to keep check on his organs and the many medications he took through the years.
That 6 months was a happy 10 years we had caring for him even though he required so much care he sure did appreciate it! Aging brought on more arthritis and incontinence over the last several years and this Winter he had a very needed dental. With everyone's prayers he did well through that after a little bit of recovery.
Jordan passed away quickly and peacefully at home on Saturday 5/314. He was especially tired that morning and did not have interest in food. I think we knew Jordan was going to leave this world. We were both able to say how much we loved him and tell him what a good boy he always was. We always did that every day and would kiss the top of his head.
We would try to "prepare" ourselves as we watched Jordan grow older each day. He would always beat his medical issues. More lives then a cat.
Jordan had a great long life easy going never complained. There was nothing we wouldn't have done for him. He was just amazing. Although we are so sad and miss him we wish that every dog could have a long life filled with love like Jordan did. Thanks for all the the great years you gave us sweet little Ol' man! A TRIBUTE TO JORDAN
