NSDOG and Sportsman's Warehouse are hosting the 3rd Annual Nevada State Dutch Oven Championship, which will be a sanctioned IDOS competition. The winner may be invited to compete at IDOS' world championship in March 2015.
Competition will be a three-pot format (main dish, bread and dessert).
Only an Adult division can compete (ages 18+). Competitors may compete as individuals or in teams. Competition is limited to 20 teams. Competitors must provide their own ingredients, charcoal, equipment, and shelter (canopy).
Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places. More details to come.
Set-up begins as early as 7:00 a.m. Cooks meeting is at 7:30 a.m.
Main dishes must be turned in no later than 12 p.m.
Breads and Desserts must be turned in no later than 1 p.m.
