NVCT 2nd Saturdays Invasive Removal, Annandale

From 1pm-3pm, we'll be removing invasive English Ivy, Pachysandra, Vinca, etc. around the Packard Center in Annandale Community Park! Meet at 4022 Hummer Road, Annandale, VA 22003. No experience necessary and NVCT will provide some tools, though please bring clippers and loppers if you have them. Dress for outdoor work: long pants, long sleeves, work gloves. Hat, sunscreen, and water recommended. NVCT will provide light refreshments. Free parking and restrooms available onsite.

Thanks to those of you who participated in this event!! I was glad we could start removing vinca which should create more space in the understory at the park. Please join us at our next event in the park, which will be May 8th! Hope to see you there!

A fantastic day to make some headway clearing vinca at Annandale Community Park. Small group, but I think that we made some progress.
