I disagree with Mr. Graham -- this could be a fun venue to express political views. If it were moderated appropriately, anyhow... 

Leider sieht es aber gerade nicht so aus, als ob es hier sehr *moderat* zugehen wuerde. Deshalb ist es vielleicht besser, man laesst es. Schade. 

Another missed opportunity for real and open discussion.

I follow the news around the AfD with interest. A lot has been written about them, both before and after their "near miss" in the recent German elections.

Hallo Everyone,

One of my cousins is in contact with news items and people in Germany, and the topic of AfD, Alternative Für Deutschland came up.  Apparently AfD is a diverse, courageous group wanting to make changes in the present Euro situation, I believe to return some countries to their own individual currencies.
