This new group hopes to attract local musicians of all types for casual jam sessions based on sharing, creating and learning music and of course... having fun.  Best instruments are acoustic guitars, hand drums and percussion instruments, bass, vocals and others will be welcome provided they are appropriate for the mostly acoustic mix. Although the core concept will be focussed on acoustic instruments, some electric components are welcome, including some amplification of acoustic guitars, electric bass, accompaniment from electric lead guitar and vocals.

If you play several instruments, then we can to some trading off, and I, the organizer, have several instruments that you're welcome to play.

If you don't play, but you'd like to write lyrics, I think we can work that in too.  Shoot me an email and let me know... we'll schedule something for you.

One Last Thing... If you don't live close enough to come out and jam with us periodically, please don't join the group.  I'd like to keep the membership to those that really think they can make it from time to time.  I see many other groups that have 50 members or more and no on ever goes.  That makes it hard for others that want to join to know who is really "in the group".  :o)
