"sunday in the park with george" @ Signature Theater

Sondheim. Signature’s Signature.

A blank canvas. So many possibilities. Signature launches their 25th Anniversary season with Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s Pulitzer Prize- winning Sunday in the Park with George.

Inspired by the painting “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” by Georges Seurat, Sunday in the Park with George brings art to vibrant life. In the intimate MAX Theatre, Sondheim and Lapine’s stunning masterpiece merges past and present into beautiful, poignant truths about life, love and the creation of art.

Written by the team behind Into the Woods and Passion, and featuring the songs “Finishing the Hat,” “Children and Art” and “Putting it Together,” Sunday in the Park with George is a special 25th Anniversary celebration of Sondheim – Signature’s signature.

“An audacious, haunting, and in its own intensely personal way, touching work.” – The New York Times

Howdy y'all! I'm excited to see this on Sunday, and have a couple of suggestions for the pre-show dinner at 5. Lots of eateries nearby. I've been wanting to try Cheesetique for a while, you can find the menu here:
    http://cheesetique.com/dine/

Another idea is Guapos Restaurant, menu here:

Let's take a vote of what you prefer, with 7 of us we may need to make a reservation.

Looks like tickets are sold out. If anyone has 1 or 2 tickets they are not using, I'd be happy to take them (buy them) off your hands.

I tagged myself on Ticketmaster so anyone who checks out tickets for the 7PM performance on 9/21 will see where I am sitting.

Hey all: Make a note about the "slightly obstructive seats" I originally purchased via T-master. The online map does NOT show that our original B seats (B108 and B110) are on different levels, separated by a high rail for physically necessary accommodations.Sig. Theatre kindly called me b/c re: those seats and offered us different seats. We will now be in E101 and E103.
