What do you grow now (it's okay if you don't), and where?

Veggies, edible perennials (asparagus, berries), planted 13 fruit trees this past fall, including 3 Hall's Hardy Almonds,(might get one almond nut! lol), variety of medicinal herbs, patch of wheat & flax (as experiment), lavender, mints, and natives and more.

Why are you interested in this meetup?

Would love to connect with local gardeners to share success and failure stories, organic tips, methods, best practices, sustainable practices, make new friends, reach out to folks who might want to volunteer their gardening skills to those who are too old or sick to do it themselves (crop mob), and create a community of resilient connections to awesome people with dirty fingernails!

Avid gardener, landscape designer, chicken owner, learning about Edible Forest gardening and how to be sustainable on a quarter acre (I'm on 1/3). Check out Facebook page, Katonah Gardeners. Organizer with Transition Westchester & Katonah/Bedford

What Pauline Panagiotou S. is saying about this Meetup Group

This group had a great start and momentum. Let's see if anyone is interested in keeping it going. I'm fairly certain we can. :) "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." Margaret Mead
