Three of these hikes National Geographic magazine calls must hikes and ranked within the top 10 hikes in the world. Angels Landing in Zion, The Zion Narrows and Buckskin Gulch in the Paria Wilderness area.

Hiking destinations include:
Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park,
Paria Wilderness Area, Buckskin Canyon and The North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Lower Antelope Canyon.

The most difficult hike will be Angels landing In Zion National Park. YouTube has many videos of this hike. The hike up the Zion Narrows will be one of the wettest and most rewarding.

Bryce will amaze those as we hike through the HooDoos and spires. Buckskin Gulch will awe all who venture inside the worlds longest slot canyon. Dotting many of the canyons are Indian petroglyphs and petrographs, Dinosaur fossils and tracks. At this time of the years many desert flowers are in bloom and scenery that will remain with you the rest of your life.
The dates chosen are in the middle of the dryest part of the year. This is important because of the flash flood danger. It is also the time when the water temperatures in the Narrows begin to warm and the high desert tempertures are in the low 90's. Simply put March/April is too wet,
July/ August typically + 110 degress.
This will be a camping trip, 5 nights in Zion and 3 nights in Kanab, Utah. Cost should run around $1200 per person.
This is high desert, Elevations are 4500' -9000'. This area sits on a Colorado and Kaiparowits plateau.

The hiking is relatively easy its the heat and the altitude that will present the biggest problems.

. This will be a 9 day trip, 2 travel days and 7 hiking days.

Agreed - and he does it with a smile too...
Bing is using Antelope Canyon photos for their wallpaper today... and it looks like warmer than usual weather for southern Utah (to the extent that they can predict 4 weeks in advance). Getting psyched!
