High Ledges and Fire Tower - 8 Miles

Hike from Cafe to High Ledges and over to Fire Tower and then hike back to cafe. 4 hours long and yes it's a bit of drive to this hike but it's worth the drive. I posted this hike to start late morning to enable late risers to attend.

This a vigorous hike!

Parking:

There is a large parking lot near cafe just north of Bridge St behind grocery store. And another parking next to People's Bank on Bridge St. Limited Bridge St parking is two hour parking only.

Hi Earl - I still hope to make it tomorrow (REALLY appreciate the late start time!)....but unexpected circumstances may prevent me from coming. If not tomorrow, hope to hike with you sometime soon.

Distance is 7 to 8 miles. Hike to high ledges is most challenging part, then ridge hike to fire tower, back down to cafe. This hike is no more challenging than Mermit Cave which we did earlier this year. Also I changed start time to 11:15am.

Hi Earl! About how many miles do you think this is? Is there a lot of climbing? (I like climbing).
