Northlake Moms & Tots is a group of moms just for you. It's a great way to meet other moms in your community who share your interests and concerns. This group was created by several primarily stay-at-home moms who's main focus was creating fun, friendly, and safe meetups for our young children.

Becoming a mom is a life changing experience and what better way to enjoy all of the adventures of motherhood than by sharing them with other moms and tots alike! We have set off on a mission to develop a group of fun, friendly, and active families. Our calendar is a very busy one that offers a variety of events that should meet most moms' schedules. You will find weekly in home play dates (morning), crafts for toddlers, holiday parties for the entire family, mall play date/walks, MNI, DNI, as well as field trip play dates to area venues. *We cater activities more towards stay-at-home moms and moms who work at home with their children, but we welcome moms who work outside of the home as well.  

Northlake Moms & Tots is a diverse group that includes moms and children of all ages. The only thing that comes before fun in our group is safety. So, for the safety of our members and their children, we do like to meet our members before they have access to our calendar of events, photos of our children and our members’ addresses and other personal information. This is just so we know who is in our group, this is an online group after all and it's best to be safe. Once you have requested to join we will provide you with several public events that will allow you and us an opportunity to meet.

To allow all of our members to feel at home we have few things that we want to make everyone aware of. This group is focused on children and we want to maintain a safe environment. Below you will find some of our basic guidelines

*We ask that all hostesses’ please advise if there are animals within the home and if they will be around the children. *Please advise if your child(ren) have any known food allergies. This will allow us to avoid bringing such foods to play dates.

*We ask that you treat everyone with respect and refrain from judging others' beliefs and parenting techniques.

*Treat others' homes as you would your own. Please pick up after your child(ren) and yourself. Please be aware of your child(ren)'s behavior and keep an eye on them to ensure their safety as well as others around him or her.

*Be courteous when you rsvp to events. We understand that things come up when children are involved but it’s considered inappropriate to frequently change your rsvp within less than 24 hour period.

*We understand that everyone's schedule is different and we hope that we have something that you can enjoy however we also know that we can't cater to everyone's needs. If you have a suggestion and would like to host an event that would meet a specific need we encourage you to do so.

*We ask that all sick children be kept at home.

*This is a moms' group not a business networking group so please refrain from marketing your business to others.

*To maintain our relaxed and drama free settings we ask that others refrain from discussing and critiquing other groups and other members.

*We are not a group designed to make money but we do require that our members pay a membership fee to allow us to continue to make this group a very successful one.

*We all are mommies and do not feel that we need to set a list of rules to be followed but please note that all situations will be handled as needed and seen appropriate by the organizing team.

This group has allowed many of us to develop a family of friends and we hope that it does the same for you. We look forward to getting to know you and your family.
