Lonely earring? Cherished Tchotchke? Beloved Bauble?

Bring them to the studio of Marcia Herson, at 14 Cedar St. (Amesbury) #321 on Saturday January 18 at 9 AM.

Marcia Herson has offered to open her studio to us for 2-3 hours, where together we’ll learn how to reinvigorate these items in ways that give you joy. Bring favorite found objects, pieces of necklaces, and other three dimensional dodads with too much personal meaning or history to throw out, and we’ll rekindle them to be worn again or exhibited as a small wall piece.(Marcia’s offered to use her materials, if inspiration warrents, at her cost.)

We’ll toast the final transformation with tea and cheers for the creation of meaningful and beautiful items-giving new life to them. We’ll also have fun!

Marcia has taught her craft for many years, and recently moved her studio to Amesbury. Visit http://www.marciaherson.com/page/mystory for more information on her art, and join us to expand our minds and hearts together. This meet up is an introduction to her studio and future classes.

It was great fun and very productive--I salvaged a half dozen forlorn pieces of jewelry.

A very fun - and productive - morning! Thank you so much for your help and your ideas, Marcia. And thank you for arranging the meetup, Debbie. I hope you found your earring, Elizabeth!

It was fun, wasn't it. I didn't find my other earring unfortunately... I'll just have to be avant garde and wear two different ones.

Bring any and all little goodies in search of their next incarnation. We might do a bit of swapping as well. See you tomorrow!

Thank you for doing this Marcia. I have a very small conch shell that I would like to put on a necklace chain. I'm hoping you can help me with that!
