This is the first time this course is being offered in Maine!

Learn the skills necessary to put permaculture principles and designs into practice here in Maine with hands-on implementation training facilitated by Permaculture Designer David Homa (Post Carbon Designs and Resilient Roots). This course is an excellent compliment to other permaculture design training you may have already had (see below).

This six-month intensive (one Saturday per month plus 12 additional hours) will build on your knowledge and skills from previous permaculture classes/courses. Students will put design into practice, concentrating on building soil, capturing water, generating energy, growing and storing food, reading the landscape, on-the-fly problem solving, and building regenerative ecosystems.

Experiential learning will connect skills with permaculture core principles such as zones & sectors, explore seasonal iterations of a permaculture design in practice, and ultimately build confidence with implementing and installing permaculture designs.
