Reclaiming the Power of Baptism – Living the Catholic Way of Life

Northwest Side Multi-Parish Mission – Prayer, Preaching, Sacraments and Hospitality for all Ages – Presented by Dr. Gerry Galipea

This Lenten experience of Faith Enrichment begins at the beginning - the moment of our Baptism into Christ Jesus.  Too often, we forget the power that claimed us when we were baptized.  What does it mean to have been baptized into Christ?  Discover ways that the reclaiming of the power of our Baptism can transform us, our relationships, and our way of thinking and acting.

Dr. Jerry Galipeau is Vice President and Chief Publishing Officer at the J.S. Paluch Company and World Library Publications, its music and liturgy division.  Before coming to World Library, he served for fifteen years as Director of Liturgy and Music at parishes in Florida and Illinois.

A popular parish mission presenter, Jerry has delivered keynotes and workshops throughout the United States and Canada on the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, liturgical spirituality, ritual music, evangelization, and adult spiritual formulation.  Past chair of the Board of Directors of the North American Forum on the Catechumenate, he earned the Doctor of Ministry with a concentration in liturgical studies from Catholic Theological Union at Chicago in 1999.

Jerry's articles have appeared in Catechumenate, Liturgical Singer, Pastoral Music, Today's Parish Rite, and Church magazines, as well as Sourcebook for Sundays and Seasons.  Jerry's recordings and books are published by World Library Publications.

Is the meeting in the church or the hall? Will we try to find each other before entering?
