It was sunny and beautiful on the east side of the pass, and perfect shoeing weather. I met 4 new delightful people on this outing, and enjoyed the company of two "old" friends. Thanks everyone for putting up with my numerous equipment failures. I'll be visiting REI today to explore my options. Thank you, William, for co-hosting this event with me.

Enjoyed snowshoeing with Judi, Rebecca and Kathy. Stoped at the North Bend bar & grill for some great food after the hike. It was a very enjoyable day with some great people! Thank You kathy for co-hosting this snowshoeing hike and showing us this great trail!!!

Darn! I have been up since 3 am with symptoms of the stomach flu going around school. I don't think snowshoeing is my best choice for the day. And on a three day weekend - I am bummed! Have fun.

Kathy sent this out once, but we have some more members going now so I'm posting it again!

    Hi Everyone,

We have a single carpool formed meeting at Eastgate Park and Ride at 8:20; this carpool is currently full with William driving, and Rebecca, Judi and Kathy riding.

Perhaps some or all of the rest of you can form another carpool from the same location/time. It appears that Eastgate may be central for Kathryn + guests, Susan and Julie, as it is accessible from both I-90 and I-405. Someone just needs to step to be the driver.

Thank you. See you all Saturday.

    Kathy, Co-Leader
