I have many years of film photography experience. Areas that I most enjoy include people photography and abstract. I have published a yearly Photo Journal through Blurb for the past four years and have been associated with NWHPC since 2004.
My first foray on my own with a camera occurred in 1947. I was very active in film photography up until 1986 when I took a fifteen year hiatus from photography. In 2001, I purchased my first digital camera and have since been pursuing my passion.

Hi Gary,
You seem to be a great photo friend to have . Would love to meet you sometime and learn more about photography from you as seem to be very knowledgeable .

Thanks Gary! Looking forward to being a part of this group.
Gary, Thanks for the welcome aboard. I'll be at a meetup soon.
Thanks, Gary. I'm looking forward to meeting some real photographers who, unlike me, actually know what they're doing. FYI, this is just Stan here, not Stan & Carolyn. Carolyn and I are signed up as a couple on a couple of the two-wheel meetups but she is not "into" photography.
Thanks again, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. Unfortunately we have family coming in from out of town tomorrow so I'm out of commission for a few days, but you will see me sooner or later.
Gary is a great person to get to know. He knows a lot but is modest. I value his opinions! He also finds and creates interesting Meep Ups for us! Thank You Gary
OHHHH! Thanks, Gary! Glad to know what avatar is. And very glad to know I don't have to be BLUE! :)))) BTW, the special effects in that movie were AWESOME, although the storyline was a bit strange. :)
