AIGA Open House w/free drinks

If you’ve ever wondered what AIGA is or thought you wanted to participate in professional, Portland, design community, events, you’ve got a great opportunity coming up: our annual Open House, on Wednesday, April 17.

Here’s a no-pressure place to have a drink, a snack, and find out more about AIGA and its role in the Portland design community. We’ll be hanging out at the Nemo Design Studio in Southeast – eating snacks, drinking a beer or two, and talking about the professional powerhouse that is AIGA. After some happy hour mingling, our board members will give short presentations about what they do for the organization. Time for questions. Hopefully, you'll leave with some new or renewed passion for the awesome community of Portland designers and design advocates.

If you like what you hear, maybe you’ll sign up to join us as a member of AIGA. Apparently, there are also door prizes!!

So don’t miss it! We look forward to seeing you there.

Hey all, make sure you bring your ID there's alcohol there. 21 and under admitted-all will have bracelets indicating status. No ID, no drinkin'!

Okay one person liked this idea, so it's official. At 8pm, I'll head over to Roadside Attraction (1000 SE 12th Ave, Portland, OR 97214) and whomever wants to meet by the fire out front is welcome to do so. I'll be over there around 8:30p tomorrow night.

Yeah, so the cool thing is I've promoted this event here just because I'm the Interim Partnership Chair for AIGA, but each board member is likely bringing a lot of people, so I'm pretty stoked we'll have a packed house! Yay! Bring your friends. So, no one commented about having a post-meeting party at Roadside Attraction just for this group. Yay or Nay?

I'm so excited all of you are planning to come! It'll be a packed house for sure. What do you all think about having some kind of after party chat thing by the fire over at Roadside Attraction?
