Visclosky is coming! Visclosky is coming!

Visclosky Accountability Town Halls Jan. 10th - 18th

At the January 5th Liberty Straight Up Movie and Happy Hour, there were more than 60 people in attendance. Each agreed with the experts in the movie, Behold A Pale Horse, when it was suggested that millions of "Paul Revere's" are needed to speak out about the unconstitutional behavior of our government.

Few however wanted to be that lone Paul Revere. Many were willing, if they could find some safety in numbers.

To provide that safety in numbers, 50 FREE tickets are available for every single Town Hall meeting being held this month. When you look at the ticket choices it will show you how many tickets remain available. Subtract that number from 50 and you will determine how many are planning to attend each particular Town Hall Forum.

Follow this link to obtain A FREE TICKET FOR EVERY TOWN HALL YOU PLAN TO ATTEND: http://www.libertystraightup.eventbrite.com

Obviously the Town Halls are open to the public and no ticket is required for admission. This free ticket system is made available to provide everyone with that safety in numbers feeling. So many find strength in numbers and need to know that other like-minded patriots will be attending a certain Town Hall event before they commit themselves.

Provide each other with some added courage by obtaining a free ticket. Names and contact info of those attending is NOT disclosed. Each ticket may also be copied and handed out as invitation to friends and relatives. After all, what kind of Paul Revere would you be if you did not sound the alarm and inform your neighbors!

Let's turn that phrase "See Something, Say Something" around a bit. Congress does not stay within it's constitutional limits - let's Say Something!

There are a few things that have been learned over the years about Town Hall meetings:

1. There will be people attending that are PAID TO BE THERE and support Visclosky.
2. It is best to NOT sit next to your friends.
(Scatterring around the room makes a bigger impact. You'll find that those strangers sitting next to you are provided courage to show that they agree too. 3. Meetings will be cut short when the Paul Revere's are winning over the audience. (Note that the Town Halls do not list an end time)
4. Be Polite - showing your anger or frustrations will be used against you.

It was rather disconcerting to see our congressman slither around in order to avoid the 1/5 of his questions that pertained to gun control while using the same canned speech over and over again. However, it was nice to see such a vast showing of the pro gun crowd. It also, really didn't surprise me later on to be blown off by him when I asked about why my GI Bill was cut while pell grants are being expanded.

Neither Visclosky nor any other Democrat is chairman of defense appropriations. All chairs of all House committees are Republicans.

As mentioned below here are my thoughts posted on FB: I stand corrected regarding Visclosky sponsoring some bills during his 28 years in congress. With some further research on other sites this is obviously true. When searching opencongress.org for that information either it was in error there or my search was flawed. I certainly should have remembered that Visclosky co-sponsored one of Ron Paul's Audit the Fed bills. I am quite curious why the congressman is spending our money to schedule and invite folks to Town Halls then uses the 'batphone', as Chuck describes, because constituents may attend to ask him questions? Does he not want to explain why he voted Yes to the NDAA that would indefinitely imprison US Citizens without trial? Or, maybe someone will ask: How many times have you voted to increase the debt ceiling? Or, Why did you sponsor that Audit the FED bill and then vote Against it? This will certainly make for some great conversations at our next Happy Hour!

Is this such a big deal to them that a REPORTER printed a story about it? If they say WE don't have our facts straight, Visclosky made two errors between his Hebron meeting and Lowell Town Hall meeting. At the Hebron meeting, he said his dad was 96. In Lowell, his dad was 97. So what, small detail......But he said Social Security would be insolvent in 2033 in Hebron, & then in Lowell, it became 2024. Will this be pointed out by the newspaper? How many times has our Government projected costs outward 10 years or more & been totally wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do hope that this encourages you to attend as many of the meetings as possible as it does me to find out why they are concerned that 'Paul Revere' types are attending.

It seems that we've received some attention from the NWI Times about our efforts to attend the Town Hall Forums over the next week. If you've not seen it yet, take a look at the front page of the paper. For those that are on Face Book you may have already seen my response on the groups page. http://www.facebook.com/groups/153282161405687/

For those of you that are not on Face Book I'll have to post my response in another message as there is a character limit here.
