We are a niche group of social mountain bikers who ride a particular pace. Please read entire description. Note the trail rating explanation and release of liability below the 2 diagrams.
TRAIL RATING EXPLANATION
Trails are given two ratings, difficulty of climbs (C0 – C4), and technical difficulty (T0 – T4). Use this as a general guideline only. Trail ratings are subjective and difficulty varies along the route of any trail.
CLIMBING / ENDURANCE
C0 - Barely up hill.
C1 – Climbs minor by local trail standards.
C2 – Moderate climbs, huffing and puffing expected.
C3 – Lung buster. Prolonged climbs. Some will walk their bikes in sections.
C4 – Evil, nasty, long climbs. We will rarely, if ever, do these.
T0 – Well groomed gravel. Like the gravel road up Waterton Canyon.
T1 - May have loose gravel, erosion ruts, rocks, tree roots. Requires paying attention but doesn’t require advanced riding technique.
T2 - Rocks, switchbacks, roots, etc that require experience and technique.
T3 - Tougher rocks and switchbacks and drops up to 1 foot or a little more.
T4 - Highest skill level required. We don’t ride these. Few mortals do.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
