I am getting back to music and fingerstyle acoustic guitar after a long time. At work I specialize in helping companies automate testing and deployments in large computer systems.
I played a lot when I was in my twenties. I sang a lot in coffee houses in Canada in the 1970's. Had a family and career in the middle and just started playing (and singing) again recently.
I am a finger stylist. Acoustic; folkish, and elvish.
One I love.
It was a good mix. There were enough folks who were comfortable leading songs to keep things moving. The music was new to me and I really appreciated everyone's patience.
Hi Marnie, I hope you'll play your who ate the tomato song at the song circle. That was really good! :)
Hi Marnie, it was great to see you at the jam (at Rodney's). I hope you can make it to Sloan's Lake to see me play in a band this weekend. Dwight Mark, the leader of the Crazians Band will perform a solo gig at 1:30 pm followed by the full Crazian Band performance at (or closer to) 2 pm. We will be at Band Stage (NOT the Main Stage). Below is the link where the Band Stage is:
Thanks, it was fun playing with you. I had a great time.
Thank you for coming. I enjoyed meeting and making some music with you. I'll be posting another meey-up soon, so keep an eye out. See you later!
Hello Marnie, as you know I am hosting a meetup on Saturday which you are on the wait list. Since you just joined I am extending an invitation to you. I'm sure we can make room for you. Hope to see you on Saturday!
