A casual Sunday run, ~10 min/mile conversational pace. Come get some exercise and meet some new people!
Two of us are training for a half marathon in February (my first race), so our target will be a longer run, around 10-12 miles. We will be doing loops of the park (running counterclockwise on Park Drive), one full loop being about 6 miles, and a half loop around 3. I encourage runners of all distances and abilities to join us and do what they can. I hope to get more people running so we have enough active members for a happy hour in the near future.
Meet at the USS Maine Monument, on the west side steps of the monument, right next to the entrance to the park.
We will run the Park drive loop. For those that want a shorter run, you can run around the reservoir and back to the starting point instead of doing a full loop.
