I have booked us a room at The Navigation Inn, 6 Wilford Street, Nottingham, NG2 1AA (tel:[masked]) for 7.30 on Thursday 24th June for us to discuss the future of the meet up group.
The Navigation Inn is situated between The Irish Club and the Inland Revenue buildings, beside the canal. Unfortunately there is no private parking, but it’s only a short walk from the city centre car parks. In hope this date is convenient for as many of you as possible, the room holds at least 30 people.
There is no charge for the room but I’m sure the owner, Gareth, will be pleased if you buy a drink on the way up to the room. I have asked that there be no music in the room so it should be easier to us to hold discussions, and if we all like the room he will be very happy for us to have it on a regular basis, let’s see how it goes on the night!
Would anyone care to put an Agenda together before we meet?
There is a really good Italian film on at the Broadway during June. Its called Vincere and is about Mussolini's secret first wife and son. It runs 4-10th June. I thought this would make a good idea for a social in June.
I actually saw it at the Screen Lit festival last month so its not crucial that the date works for me. If someone suggests a date and agrees to be there I'm happy to put the details on the site if they don't know how to do it. And if the date is good for me I'll come along again as its worth seeing again.
