It's the 1920's and a group of socialites are on a winter train journey. All is well until the train is delayed by a snowdrift and worse still one of the passengers is found murdered. It's up to remaining 9 guests to find the culprit before they make their escape.
I intend to run a murder mystery game for 8 people where we solve a case over a 3 course dinner. I have contacted the pub and they are happy to provide vegi and vegan options to our group in addition to the main menu. The food is good quality pub grub and three courses should set up back no more than 20 pounds. You are feel to order what you like if you don't want 3 courses. We have the table booked all night so we can follow the dinner with some drinks.
The game is easy to play. Those interested must pick one of the following characters ( first come first served ), they will play this character all night and there are rounds where each character has clues to reveal and evidence to give which will allow the murderer to be brought to justice. Characters: 4 men -upper class nitwit,middle/eastern merchant, irish gambler, scottish gentleman and 4 women -party girl, american journalist, snobbish lady and nun. All characters are wild sterotypes and should be easy and fun to play, cross dressing allowed. Dressing as the character is very much encouraged. RSVP but email me with your address and character choice and I will send you a booklet which outlines the rules and some details about you. I will update as characters filled.
The game needs at least 6 players to go ahead. One of you will be the murderer and will discover this during the game. My email [masked]. We will eat at 7 after a cocktail and introductions. I expect the game will last around 2 hours. Please only RSVP if you are certain you can commit to attend. Email questions if you like.
