Update 27th November
This event has now sold out!
The Theatre Royal present another evening of sumptuous storytelling in the cosy surroundings of the Theatre Royal's Dress Circle Foyer.
A storytelling night with a difference. EAT ME! Is a collection of stories about food and human ingenuity; about selfishness and sharing.
To accompany the stories the audience will get tiny nibbles appropriate to each tale - bread and butter with the English folk tales: Sephardic meatballs with the medieval Spanish story, and with a Palestinian love story; Sicilian orange cake. The foods carry their own histories: the meatballs are designed to fool the Inquisition, and the orange cake recipe was a gift from the harem women to the nuns of Sicily.
Sarah Rundle got locked in a laboratory but tunnelled her way to freedom. She ran away to drama school, and is now an actor and storyteller. Over the last seven years she has performed in theatres, cafes, museums, yurts, and a Saxon longhouse.
"Sarah is a talented performer in the ancient and honourable art of storytelling. Her performances are witty, engaging and paint worlds on the greatest canvass of all - the mind. If she has a gig near you then grab a ticket now, fill your glass and enjoy to the journey to another world!"
Tickets are £6.00 and are available from the box office.
