Night out - Party with Music

Come and listen to music, chat with friendly faces and party!

Its a free party night with several musicians playing to celebrate the launch of Marc Block's CD, but people dont need to buy it, in fact most there probably wont! He and his band will be playing: Elly Lucas (fiddle/viola), Alex Cumming (accordion), Seth Tinsley (double bass/guitar) and local businessman Jay Leivers (guitar). There music is a jaunty acousticpop with an earthy vibe. If you want to check out the music first to see if you like it & whether you'd want to come along try http://www.marcblock.co.uk/

There will be a special guest appearance by the legendary folk singer Roy Bailey, the evening also includes a supporting set from the wonderful Becky Syson, newly returned to Nottingham with her “sublime folk-rock”. http://www.beckysyson.com/

Doors open from 7:30, however I plan to get there from 8. Do come and join me, the more the merrier and hopefully it will be a fun night.

This will be held upstairs at the canal house, so make your way upstairs and we will see you there.

There will also be lots of people not from meetup there. I will however put up a message to say where in the room we are!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
