Chapterhouse Theatre Company present ’Sherlock Holmes - Hound of the Baskervilles’ in Wollaton park. Adapted for the stage by Laura Turner

In the lonely wasteland of the desolate Devon moors, something evil is afoot. When death stalks the Baskerville family, legend and superstition collide with the most heinous of crimes. On the moor nobody is safe, not even the bravest of men.

Join Chapterhouse to meet the world’s most famous of detectives, Sherlock Holmes himself, as he is called upon to solve the greatest mystery of all time...that of the Hound of the Baskervilles.

Bring a picnic and your best detective skills for an unforgettable evening of theatre, mystery and suspense under the stars. Suitable for all ages.

Great to meet you tonight, Lisa.
Paul - I'm sorry we didn't meet you... we were right at the front.
Lucky us that not a drop of rain fell... great play too. I thought the barmaid's silent performance stole the show! Hilarious!

Hello, shame some of you couldn't get tickets...and it's now sold out. :-(

So how many of us are there with tickets and definitely attending on Saturday? Would you message back 'yay' or something, so I can count and know how many to look out for, please?
(or if you aren't coming, take yourself off the list by changing your RSVP)

I have just found out that the gates open at 6pm, and the show starts at 7pm. It's in the Formal Garden, through the gate to the left of the main entrance to Wollaton Hall.

Since it's grab-a-bit-of-ground seating, I will arrive at 6pm and attempt to grab space near the front with a couple of picnic blankets, but I suggest you get there as early as you can to help me hold the space!

I'll wear a red dress with owls on it, so you can pick me out of the crowd.

Don't forget your picnic / low chairs (full height chairs are a bit discourteous ot those sitting behind, I feel) / layers / waterproofs / deerstalker

    :-)

Hello everyone... here's hoping the weather is still like this for the play :-)

Just a reminder that you are responsible for getting your own tickets. I've checked, and they haven't sold out yet.

Hello Cat, Garry, James, Maria and Neil
I'm delighted you are interested in this event. I know I'm really looking forward to it. I usually go to Shakespeare outdoors, but I thought this would be a bit more relaxing! That is... if it isn't scary :-)

I'm not arranging tickets, so please make sure you book those for yourselves.
    See you bank holiday weekend...
