The one, the only - Old School Sports Day (part 2)

Time to dig out those trainers once again and get mega competitive

This is a Family Event so bring the children along

All those old school favourites from back in the day:

  • Egg and Spoon Race
  • Skipping Race
  • Three Legged Race
  • 53.7 Metre Sprint
  • Obstacle Race
  • Moo Cow Race
  • Dressing Up Race
  • Welly Wanging
  • Target to Target Competition
  • Tug of War
  • Team Blindfold Race
  • Relay Race
  • etc.

Upon arrival people will be split up into teams like old school houses or colours.

There will be different categories to compete for:

Team Competition

Male Competition

Female Competition

Children's Competition

Overall Best Sportsperson of the Day

There are prizes for the winners!!

A points system for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each event has been formed.

Judges/Organiser decision if final.

 

By the track side we will set up a rest area for people to form a picnic area.

If you want to come to the event but don't want to enter races, Please help out in the organisation of the day, by helping in setting up events or taking scoring etc. Thanks

  • Skipping Ropes
  • Small Balls (Tennis ball size)
  • Old Clothes - Trousers/Skirts, Shorts, Flip Flops
  • Wellies (Wellington Boots)
  • Tug of War Rope
  • Hula Hoops
  • Buckets
  • Bean Bags

 

Last Year 34 people came along making it a good event, hopefully with some  improvements and participation we can make it a Great event this year!!

 

So come along, Have Fun and Enjoy -I am sure everyone will laugh at least once!!

    hi, just to confirm we will set up by the lower car park near Wollaton Road, if at the lower car park face towards the Hall and then head left pass the avenue of trees and to an open flat field, I will put signs up (look out for A4 pieces of paper with 'meet up' logo on) on trees pointing whereabouts we are near the lower car park, any problems here's my mobile:[masked]
