Boot Camp - Andy Style!!
This is a for all fitness levels - so come enjoy & try something new.
The routine is a mixture of military exercises, personal trainer exercises and part of the training programme when coaching I use to increase the fitness of Nottingham rugby league team training sessions.
We shall start with warm ups and stretching and then get into the exercises around a circuit I will set out, the session should last around 1 hour 15 mins and 1 hour 45 mins and finish with stretching down at the end.
This isnt an event to see whose the fittest but an event for better well being and to be fitter overall.
If you can't do an exercise it doesnt matter but 'what you put in is what you get out'
Key objects are to work as a team, motivate each other and keep smiling!!
As most of you know I am ex army and over the years have gone through all these exercises and with also coaching several activities myself have devised a programme that can improve fitness and flexibility.
Yes I may shout a little but I also have a different approach to how to improve flexibility,
I wont get you doing press up for hours on end, but will introduce a different style to your average bootcamp hopefully more enjoyable!!
If the event goes well with interest I shall plan to do the BootCamp on a more regular basis - doing this on a regular basis will increase fitness, make you faster and can make you lose weight.
Please wear sports wear or loose clothing and sports shoes/trainers. Also bring a full waterbottle too.
The car park at Wollaton Hall is a paying one, my suggestion is to park on the roadside near the entrance and walk into the park.
