Knitting (or crochet, or anything else!), tea and chat!

Let's meetup and knit again, and see how much further we've all got with our projects, or even share new ones!

I'll be in the Cafe Bar at 2pm, and will be easy to spot with my knitting! I hope that some of you will join me with whatever knitting project you're currently working on.

PS. Feel free to come along for tea and chat even if you don't have any knitting to do.

PPS. This isn't intended to be a knitting lesson, although we may be able to help each other out with dropped stitches etc (and show people new and exciting things like self patterning yarn) ;-)

A lovely, friendly bunch of people, thank you all for joining me this afternoon. I hope that at least some of you can come to the next knitting meetup at the end of February!

Hi Charlotte, what a lovely idea. I am not able to make it this time but need to learn how to crochet. I bought my daughter a Granny blanket for Christmas and need to make it bigger!! I know the basics but need a few lessons. Do you know of a patient teacher? When I have started my project i would love to meet up with the group. Helen

Hi Helen, there are loads of really good books to teach you how. I find the ones for kids best. Or look on the web, there are loads of good tutorials covering every craft you can think of on You-tube - americans are great at sharing that kind of thing :)

Helen - people will see your question on here and hopefully respond, as someone already has!
