We all need a Sat Night Owt.. so
Royston Duxford play a mix of low down, foot stomping’, country blues & rock’n’roll.
The story goes that two guys met in a dishevelled hash bar in Morocco sometime during the fall of 2010. After realising they shared the same famous Grandfather, they settled down to a night of hash and brandy, recounting the stories that had been passed to each of them about their wayward Grandfather, Royston Duxford. Royston was notorious for being a rambling, gambling, philandering, good time seeking rebel without a cause (sounds like me), fathering countless illegitimate children and surviving on winnings from motorcycle races which he would organise (and win) in every town he travelled through.
Possessing their own musical gift, these two adult grand kids started a Rock’n’Roll band dedicated to telling the many stories of ol' Royston Duxford. And so the 'Royston Duxford band' was born.....
we can have a last drink for Mary and a dance at the Living Room from 11.30pm..
