Christmas Arts & Food Market and Harley Open Studios

Browse art and craft stalls, from jewellery to glass and ceramics, all handpicked by The Harley Gallery. There will be plenty to tempt your taste buds, with stalls from local and specialist food producers with the Welbeck Farm Shop Food Market. You can try cheese, beer, bread and chocolate made on the Welbeck Estate, and chat with the food producers.
Get a behind the scenes look at life as an artist by visiting the Harley Open Studios, a very short walk from the market. Here you'll get to meet the artists, talk about their work and have a peek into their studios, as well as being able to choose and buy work directly from the makers.

Some people may need lifts, etc... please state if you need a lift or can offer one. Ta :)

Hello - I saw the message about the change of time today but want to say I did attend and was there at 9.15 despite living in Lowdham and the problems with the floods. The gallary did not open till 10.00. When nobody turned up I decided to have a look round on my own:-( It was worth turning up I visited the studios the gallary enjoyed the stalls and glad to discover the farm shop - I bought several items and finally had a good look round the garden centre. Excellent place and Kiran thank you for organising - I shall make sure to be more up to date next time lol

Yay! Val to the rescue! :) Last year we had a very nice sunday dinner at the Rose Cottage next to Rufford Abbey on the way home. They were very busy though and we were lucky Carolynn knew a jedi mind trick. Shall I book a table this time for seven people at 3pm?

9.30am is rather early - so changed it to 10am.

Rathna - please text me if you are coming. I'm presuming we will I've emailed you my mobile.

Everyone else is coming from Nottingham. How are we doing for transport? Anyone stuck? Or are we all sorted? I see requests for lifts... but no offers.

I figure if we set off 10am from centre of Nottingham... we can get there at a reasonable time.

This was really good last year. There was so much to see, so it's a good plan to get there early.
