New year, new cuisine.
Tired of the January weather ? Come along and pretend you're in the Caribbean for a couple of hours. Spicy food, cocktail deals (!) and (possibly) beach huts. Sounds like the perfect antidote to the British winter ...
Eagle-eyed Maz spotted this new opening at the Cornerhouse recently and it seemed like a good one to try. They have a wide range of food available from nibbles via light lunches to sharing platters and more substantial meals. Check out the menu here but as an indication items from the lunch menu are £6:

I put up lunch events every two/three weeks with the simple aim of trying out reasonably priced food that's a little exotic or places that are not very well known.
