Meal at the People's Kitchen Sumac Centre

Meetup member Adrian will be cooking for the People's Kitchen at the Sumac Centre on Saturday 17th November.  People's Kitchen is completely run by volunteers.  Help welcome from 6.30pm. Two course dinner is served from 7pm, until it is all gone, for a suggested donation of £3.50 raising money for a good cause.

The Sumac centre also has a bar serving vegan beer.

The food was absolutely delicious, mega affordable and for a good cause - brilliant! Conversations round the table did not dissapoint either. I had such a good night. Thanks all.

Very good, thanks Adrian. Kate and Trudi put in a lot of worth too. I didn't know Trudi was a veg???

By the way, this event is a fundraiser to help stop the badger cull. We will be serving Thai red and green curries, jasmine rice and banana fritters.

Anyone want to come along for an hour about 1:30 to help chop vegetables? There's lots to do so I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks.
