Hello everyone!

We are still searching for the perfect venue for Cafe Roya but in the meantime, we have decided to revisit our old haunt The Flying Goose for a one off celebration of all things Indian!

On Sunday 30th September from 12 midday to 10pm you can join us for our Thali day:

Thali comes from the Hindi word meaning "plate". It is an Indian meal made up of a selection of various dishes. Thali dishes vary from region to region in India and are usually served in small bowls on a round tray. Sometimes a steel tray made with multiple compartments is used. Typical dishes include rice, dhal, vegetables, roti, papad, curd (yoghurt), and chutney or pickle.

During our travels in the Gujurat in Western India we had to endure countless Thali tastings so after this labourious work we feel we have the subject fully researched and are well equipped with the knowledge to create a spectacular Thali in our own exotic Beeston town.

MENU

Starter - Pani Puri - £4.50

The Ultimate Veggie Thali  - £12.95

Homemade Pisatchio Kulfi with Exotic Fruits - £4.50

Masala Chai - £1.95

(Or enjoy the entire menu for the spacial price of £19.95)

We will also have a selection of wines, beers and lagers as well as soft drinks and sweet/mango lassi's available on the night.

If you would like to join us for this special day then please email us back with your name, telephone number, preferred time, and how many of you would like to dine with us. Please also let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements when you book i.e. vegan/coeliac.

We look forward to hearing from you (and to getting back into our old mini kitchen),

with much love, Roya and Lynda"
