As the weather is getting summery, I was thinking of holding a Provence evening outdoor and have barbecue at the same time.
As we all know, Provence is synonymous of the summer with its lavender fields, cricket song, outdoor terraces and .. roses de Provence. It is that, but it is also far more than that, with unheard of collection top wine makers and some of the best red and whites bottles of the Southern Europe : Trevallon, Clos Milan, Pibarnon, Scamandre, Tempier, Richeaume, Simone, Les Terres Promises etc..
We will gather in Anne and Parag's garden (if English weather permits) and have a collection of Mediterranean dishes that will go well with some outstanding roses, than barbecue with red wine, cheeses with some of their best white bottles, and dessert with the late harvest nectars from Corsica (Muscat du cap Corse).
Participants are encouraged to bring a dish, but there is no particular list, just bring the mediteranean food that you would like to share.
Participation fee is 20£/ head as usual and places are limited to 20 participants.
