Do you enjoy wine and do you think wine can be culture that brings people together

Yes, I think this meetup group is proof of exactly that.

Do you have any experience in wine tasting ? Have you ever participated to a blind tasting ?

No, this will be my first. I'm quite excited about it.

Have you acquired any particular knowledge about wine production ?

Only having spent time around wine makers and wine workers in Australia. It varied from "Too easy mate: just pick em and chuck em in this old bath. In six months it'll be bootiful" to vast metal tanks being topped up with tap water and blended together.

What are the geateast factors that you are looking for for in wine (aromas, scent, velvety feeling, depth, lingering taste, etc..)

I'm probably not going to be very popular for mentioning price am I? Or something that won't give me a really ferocious hangover :)

Introduction

Hunter of bargain wines (check out Aldi's French Pinot Noir). So far I've been happy with something drinkable and fruity but maybe it's time to expand my vocabulary.
