Do you enjoy wine and do you think wine can be culture that brings people together

I think any common interest binds people together and what can be more convivial than wine?

Do you have any experience in wine tasting ? Have you ever participated to a blind tasting ?

I have been on a wine tasting course before, a very long time ago but had to pull out half way through as I was expecting my daughter

Have you acquired any particular knowledge about wine production ?

I am a novice I am afraid although have been to vineyards in Cyprus and France

What are the geateast factors that you are looking for for in wine (aromas, scent, velvety feeling, depth, lingering taste, etc..)

Gosh what a question - I suppose the pariring with food is most important to me - knowing what to match with a particular flavour so that it enhances the experience. Otherwise, it depends on the mood. On a hot summers afternoon, a light fragrant rose is good where the scent would be important, on a cold winters evening a rich dark red would be great and there the mouthfeel and warmth would deliver

Introduction

Hi I am a passionate foodie who loves wine and wants to learn more. I so want to meet other like minded people who will share their knowledge
