Wednesday Trivia in Tyson's Corner

Come on out to our weekly trivia night, held at Finnegan's Pride in Tyson's Corner. We are always happy to see new faces!
As always teams are limited to six people each but we can of course take over a corner of the bar and have several teams. Parking: Free parking garage is nearby. The gates open up after six so even though it says its 3 dollars it is in fact free. Parking outside the garage is pretty much nonexistent. If you want to check out the menu, you can do so here: http://www.finnegans.net/our-locations/finnegans-tysons-corner/

Wow - I think this is the first time in a while that there'll only be one team of redditors.

Oh and the twitter hint is what country has the most best restaurants in the world, and that would be Spain.

Here is a tale of trivia in NH. There were two mistakes in questions last night at trivia. The first question was "Name this nordic 5 letter term for an environ with no trees" So I immediately counted out a bunch of answers, and went with Plain because that is the only answer that could possible be nordic with 5 letters.
The question asker then said the answer was TUNDRA, which has 6 letters, I was pissed off. Then in the last round there was a question "what bone connects the pelvis to the thigh bone?" I then asked for clarification on what the "thigh bone" was, because in my anatomy class there was no thigh bone. So we wrote down Femur, assuming that they wanted that name as an answer since there is physically no bone between the pelvis and the hip, since its a joint. He then said the answer was "the HIP bone". Are you fucking kidding me? The hip is part of the pelvis!!!

In the category of Wildcard: "Noted trivia figure Bill Fleming moved from Northern Virginia to what town in New Hampshire - also famous as the birthplace of the first American in space, Alan Shepard, Jr. - before realizing his mistake and returning to the DC metro area?"

I like that he has remained with us in spirit and hint giving though. I'm too lazy to look them up myself.

Finnegan's is okay as a restaurant, but I'd say that the best restaurant in the world is Noma (located in Copenhagen, Denmark). Someone talking about Foods and Beverages would probably be interested in this.

Yeah I basically only see it when people talk about suits

For that matter, people don't talk about suits enough anymore.

I have to bow out because one of my student workers called out so I get a surprise 11-hour workday. Good luck, kiddos!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
