April 22 change of book? Novel Lovers

From: Joan P.

Blaise just had a great idea -- let's change the date for Wolf Hall to summer! That way you have a long lead time, and we can do a shorter book for April. What do you think?

Those of you who can attend April 22 -- if you like this idea, let's quickly choose another book.

In keeping with our high literary standards, I looked at some recent Man Booker Prize winners. These are available in paperback. (Titles link to Amazon, for your convenience.)

The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes

The Finkler Question by Howard Jacobson

Would you be happy with one of these?

If you can't come April 22, you can still weigh in on the idea of reading Wolf Hall this summer or reading one of the books above at another time. You can either email me ([address removed]), or post your comments on our message board at http://www.meetup.com/Novel-Lovers-of-Sebastopol/boards/view/viewthread?thread=21782762.

I'll send out another email when we've made our decision.

Your dedicated Novel Lover organizer,

Joan Price
