Enjoyed this book... food for thought about what's important and the fragility of civilization.

Hey guys! Still having some trouble adjusting to the heat so I don't think I'm going to be able to make it today. LOVED this book, though! Totally up my alley! Would have preferred a little less background in the beginning and a little more action in the end (as opposed to lots of stuff happening off-page) and it was a little dated with the blacks vs the whites - but still an enjoyable read. Leonilla rocked!! (pun intended!) Oh - and we see our first animal corpses on page 398. (I stopped counting the pages of human corpses).
