Voice Coach John, of NY Voice Coaching school is a master of voice projection, tonality selection and he will be teaching how you can do it too.
This will also be exercise full class. We will do drills and exercise you can apply right away.
- How to breath, so your voice stays constant even when you are under pressure on a date or in any social situation.
- Exercise and drills for voice projection
The first half of the seminar will focus on vocal technique while the second half of the seminar will focus on practical application of the speech techniques.
The seminar will begin with a discussion of the fundamental principles of vocal anatomy, which will answer the question, “why do I sound the way I sound?”
One of the many speech issues people encounter is tightening of the vocal chords. John will teach you to relax by negating the outer musculature so you can sound like Jon Hamm, George Clooney, or Jeff Bridges.
Many people find they are not projecting correctly. They either wind up yelling over the loud noises at the bar - only to find they’ve lost their voice the next day - or their date simply cannot hear them. John will teach you how to use your breath as fuel to talk at whatever volume you’d like for as long as you’d like, effortlessly, to project in any environment.
John will then focus on resonance, body alignment and articulation. All of these techniques will help you sound like the best and most confident version of you!
After learning these exercises, John will focus on practical application of these techniques, which includes continuity, maintaining vocal technique under duress, and preparation techniques for “surviving” in spontaneous conversations.
