Nyeek Hangs Out With Team Awesome: A Meetup Mashup Made of Beer and Board Games

So in my attempt to have both a regular Brooklyn game night and Tuesday game night I've wandered into the warm clutches of Team Awesome.  With the help and blessing of James the organizer (great name for a board game night host) we will be experimenting with a Meetup mashup.

You might recognize the location as where we had a few Sunday meetups last year.  So if you've been there before you know it's huge with tons of space for gaming!

Keep in mind that with all our Meetups in bars or restaurants it is is essential that you purchase from the establishment kind enough to host us.

I will be updating the RSVP list to reflect the RSVPs listed for Team Awesome.  More than other Meetups I would like people coming to make a point of RSVPing though not strictly necessary.

Here's the listing for on Team Awesome's Meetup! (I'll be putting a copy and paste version below all my nonsense here.)

And here's the listing the for the previous one if you want to see what a blast everyone who came had.

  Hope to see ya there!!

"We will be meeting up on the first Tuesday of every month to drink beer, play games, eat bratwurst, and have a great time! I'll bring a few games, however feel free to bring your favorites.

Now a few side notes about this place. The tables are huge, making it a little hard to hear across the table. So popular games that can be played with a lot of people, would be better if broken up in smaller groups to hear everyone. Also if there is any game that you want to play that is mine, please feel free to do so, and if you need a run down of the rules, just let me know and I'll help you out. This place also doesn't have common domestic beers (budweiser, yungling, or blue moon) So I have listed a few recommendations below and you can also ask the bar to taste something. See you soon!

I'm bringing:

• Cards against humanity

• Telestrations

• Munchkin (1,2,3,4, and dragons)

• Taboo

• Ticket to ride

• Catacombs

• Coup

• Things

• Dixit

• Love Letter

• Flux

• Star Flux

• Citadels

• King of Tokyo

• Get Bit

• Zombie Dice

• Dungeon Roll

• Cranium

• Avalon

• Scattergories

Having trouble deciding on a fine German bier? Grab one of these!

I have a meeting at the same time so I will be two hours late or not show up if I'm tired. Sorry.

I went to the address in Manhattan by mistake. DBH is half an hour away but I give up and will go home to enjoy dinner.

Just to second Hagel here please do remember to purchase something from the bar. Keeps us in the good graces of those who let us game at their establishment. Cheers and see you soon!
