Grab Your Hat & Get Ready to Shop Renningers Antique Extravaganza!

Grab Your Hat & Get Ready to Shop!

Rennengers Extravaganza is Almost Here!

Only three times a year are 1,500 antique dealers gathered together for an outdoor market extravaganza. One of those times is right around the corner on Saturday, November 17th, 2012, when antique and collectibles dealers will cover over 117 acres of rolling hills in beautiful Mount Dora.

This event is special because it kicks off the winter antiquing circuit with vendors returning from a summer buying season in New England and Mid-West states.

Plan to meet at 9 AM at Rennengers East gate at the top of the hill. Then, if stamina allows, be there 'till about 3 or 4 PM with about six hours of the year's best shopping under our belts.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and travel light. There are places to sit and rest when necessary. There are many food and drink vendors throughout the grounds.

Personally, I enjoy the thrill of the hunt, but it is not necessary to buy anything beyond the entrance fee, food, and drink to have a great time.

There is a $6.00 entrance fee per person. Parking is free.

Renningers is located about 30 minutes North of Orlando off US 441 about ¼ mile North of the SR46 overpass and just East of Mount Dora.

See MapQuest Link for interactive aerial map.

For those coming from the Rosemont area, it’s a straight drive up US 441. For those coming from the Casselberry/Longwood area, North on I-4 to SR46 West, to US 441 is a better route.

Please suggest car pool ideas in the comments below if you're interested in sharing a ride.

More details will be posted as the event date approaches.

God provided us with the most perfect day for shopping the hills of Mount Dora! It's always a great time antiquing the Extravaganza and this year was no exception. I hope more of our OACS members will come out to this meetup next year.

I hope you're as excited about antiquing this weekend as I am! We usually park at the East side gate. This is at the top of the hill at the rear of Rennengers.

We'll wait for everyone there, though we may wander around a bit.

Please call me at[masked] so we can find each other.

This Meetup is always a lot of fun, but if you're sure you can't make it, please cancel your RSVP so we're not concerned that you can't find us.

    See you Saturday!

A few of you have asked about this comment. This meetup is next weekend not this weekend. So, if you've been planning to join us on Saturday, Nov 17th, come join us for a great day of antique shopping.
